checklist boxes set to uneditable

Anyone knows of a way to set the checkboxes of a checkboxlist
to non-editable? Needed when value retreived from the db. We tick off the box that is associated with the value true and the rest of the boxes need to be set to uneditable.

Thanks.

Did you try setting the readonly property?

This is a fair warning about the CheckBoxList and RadioButtonList controls.  If you need to start to customize certain checkboxes, you will run out of options quickly.  I don't know who designed these controls, but they didn't do a very good job.  Try adding something as simple as an "onClick" javascript handler to a checkbox and you will see what I mean.
