How can I get the IP address of an HP LaserJet 400N?

I'm standing by an HP laser jet printer. Can I get information from the menu that has the IP address? Can I print something that would have it on? I want to connect to it via IP and no one can tell me what it is.

Yes, you can.  I'm not sure of the exact procedure for that model, but generally, if you go through the "menu" of the printer, somehere there is a menu for the Jetdirect card (this answer assumes that you have an internal Jetdirect print server card, which I think is the case for the "N" models).  On my HP printer (different model), as I go through the menu, it's under the "MIO Menu".  A bit of poking around should find it (or check the documentation for the printer and/or the MIO card).

One more thing, If all that you want to do is get the IP address, and not actually change anything, the printer self-test should include that information (it does on my HP printer with a Jetdirect card).
