Outllook goes crazy -- starts hundreds of instances
One time yesterday and once today, Outlook plus AddinMon went "crazy," starting hundreds of instances of each of them, eventually looking up my machine.
I believe this may be related to other Outlook problems I am having (see https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21384607/Outlook-2003-archive-folder-cannot-be-closed.html and https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21384599/Outlook-export-function-broken.html).
Should I re-intall Outlook?

After posting my question, I did some general web searching and found some identical cases to mine. They had to do with ZoneAlarm/MailFrontier, which I had also installed. The trial period ended some time ago, but I never fully uninstalled it.
I have remedied that today, fully de-intallling the version that was in place.
The odd thing is that it was originally installed several months ago, and has been in the "de-activated but still installed state" for several weeks, with no issues.
In any case, since I uninstalled the problem has not recurred. It is still too early to tell however, since it only shows up periodically.
Stay tuned.

Problem has not re-occurred. I am concluding that it is solved by the solution that I discovered. Requesting that this question be closed and PAQ'ed.

I am not familiar with Addinmon but I assume it is somekind of Add-in that works with Outlook. If yes, can you remove that or disable it for the time being to check if Outlook would behave correctly.
If yes, then we need to know if this issue started the day since Addinmon was installed or started suddenly. Then you need to check if the version of Addinmon you have would work fine with the version of Outlook you have. If it would then check if you have the latest updates for your version of Outlook.
