In most cases it wouldn't mind if you install SP1 on the running server. Altough you might get some issues with Norton Antivirus. I would say, run Norton and install SP1 in non-business hours. Also run Norton in safe-mode so it can really work it with all the files...<br />

All my clients connect to this server to get the updates....so what impact will users experience when i install sp1 during regular business hours? I have a powerfull HP server with 4 Gigs of memory and 4 processors. This is also a DC.<br />
