How to store PIX 515 software image?

We have a Cisco Pix 515E Firewall version 6.1(4).
We need to enter a new activation key to enable 3DES encryption.

It seems that I have to reload the 6.1 software image via tftp (in monitor mode) to be able to enter the new activation key. Unfortunately, I can't find the software image file (pix614.bin) on CD or anywhere else.
So, how can I store the image file from the PIX flash memory to a tftp server (just for loading it afterwards in monitor mode)?
Isn't  there anything like "copy flash tftp"?

write net xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:filename

replace the Xs with the tftp server's address and name the file.
Just ensure that the tftp server also is configured to receive.

I think this is just backing up the configuration?
I want to backup the software image (binary file) of the PIX.

You can download the old image from Cisco: http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/pix
Here is info about the activation key as well: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/prod_release_note09186a008008c96a.html

Why don't you upgrade the image to the latest?  You should because of security issues.

I don't think you can.  You can pull an image up to a PIX, but you can't pull it off again.

Have you downloaded the image from Cisco? or have you upgraded?

On the link you provided, it says

"There are currently no files for this type."

It seems, that the only version that can be downloaded from cisco is the actual version (7.0).
But for using this version a memory upgrade is necessary.
So, I would have to do a memory upgrade first.

Do you have SmartNet?

I logged in and saw:
pix614.bin
PIX OS version 6.1(4) software. Requires a minimum of 8 MB Flash and 16 MB RAM

After you click on pix614.bin, you are sent to a Cisco agreement page.  After agreeing, you are sent to the download page on which you right-click pix614.bin and sign in again for the download.

gpriceee,
you were right. I always logged in to CCO with our company account, but the former IT administrator registered the PIX SmartNet with his own account.
So, when using his account I can see and download the software image.

Thank you,
