Using netcat through an HTTP proxy server

Greetings!

Is it possible for someone to send a command shell from a local windows box to a remote machine through an http proxy server using netcat? I can do this because I have the ability to bypass the proxy. I'm wondering if machines that can only access the Internet through our http proxy can also do the same thing somehow.

Thanks,

sure but it will only be one way through the proxy... a pc wont be able to send it IN through the proxy to the computer because of NAT. but you can send from the internal network OUT through the proxy.
