Remember my earlier comment:  It is impossible to use NEXDISK again if you lose your password, so please take caution not to forget passwords.

Maybe YOU didn't forget, but your HW did!

Not really sure, but I think you have a problem.  Almost sounds like the formatting also erased the password verification without resetting (almost like forgetting the password)!

According to www.nexdisk.com:

Things that you need to remember while using NEXDISK
A. If you remove NEXDISK while the LED indicator is red, data might be lost or corrupted.

B. It is impossible to use NEXDISK again if you lose your password, so please take caution not to forget passwords.

C. JUNGSOFT is not responsible for lost data even if product is defective.

Did you use the Nexdisk utility to format it?

Thanks guys I tried your suggestions and it doesn't work. I guess I will just have to send it to the "Landfill".

I did not forget. I just formatted and then tried to use the disk and it will not  accept mh password.
Since my only recourse is to "Landfill" it, how do I put this question to rest.
