How can I set the default isolation level for all connections.
I'm using Microsoft SQL Server  2000
I know that i can set isolation level in my VB - ado connection.
           Connection.IsolationLevel = adXactReadUncommitted
I know that i can set isolation level each time i want to do a query.

I have about 300 different crystal report that i use in my VB6 application.
Each report (and subreport) have to used a ISOLATION LEVEL READ UNCOMMITTED.

Is there a way  to set the default isolation level for all connections.

    Why on earth would you want to populate your Reports with potentially dirty data?

    I don't think you can set it for all have to build it into the proc or connection

    I looked for a server wide setting to no avail.  I don't think you can change it from the default of READ COMMITTED on a server or database wide setting.  You can set it when you create the connection.
