Problem upon FWDing

Recently I’ve noticed that whenever I FWD an email from my inbox in Outlook the original email disappears from my inbox.  It’s not deleted in the traditional sense because it doesn’t get sent to my trash folder… it’s just gone.   The FWDed message is sent, but I’d obviously like to keep the original email in my inbox.  

Any ideas?

This sounds like it may caused by a filter.  View>Arrange By>CurrentView>Customize Current View>Filters.
Filters should be OFF.  If this doesn't resolve it then:
Do a FIND and search for the missing email and see if you can find it another folders.
If this doesn't resolve it then make sure there are any rules set that could be automatically moving the emails after you forward them...
