Win2k advanced server AV recommendation

Hi,

I am looking for an antivirus program that will run on my home windows 2k advanced server.

I am quite dismayed that Grisoft and Symantec both would like me to pay for their "network" or "small business" or "enterprise" versions just because I have this server OS.

Ok, I can kind of see eye to eye with them, even though the server is my toy and not for business use.

But if I am going to pay a higher price for AV protection on my home server, then at least I thought I would consult you guys first.

Which AV program do you recommend for my win2k advanced server (i use it for file server, ftp, and web server), but the number of simultaneous users is always low, besides, my bandwidth is low. Anyway, my top consideration is price, and then quality which means to me good update service for virus definitions and light footprint.

Thanks, experts.

You might try CLAM AV  and/or Open AntiVirus

Thanks for your reply. I was not aware of those AV projects.

I ended up going with Grisoft. They have Server AV trialware. I'll probably end up licensing their trialware.
