Hi all,
My application works fine using ADO connection to an MSAccess DB
If I try to switch my graphic card to "dualview mode" I get an "Error in Database connection, Access violation @ address ... Read of address 00000000"
How to solve the problem?
I tested the same problem on the following configurations:
- one NVida GeForce FX 5200 and
- two ATI Radeon 9100

Maybe Im way off the mark here, but these two problems should not be related in the slightest.
What has a graphics card got to do with an Access Database? Is there any more information you could give us?

    Accepted Solution

that "Error in database connetion" sounds like a custom error message, you may have put all the code for initializing your database and other components inside the same try..except, and that's what causes this error, but this error shouldn't be related to the database-dual view mode

you may also want to try reinstalling ADO (at least 2.7)
