Firewall message

I just installed a 250 gb hdd and installed sygate personal firewall 5.6. By the time I installed Norton antivirus  I had been infrected  but this was cleaned. However, periodically my firewall keeps popping a message " Wlntfx.exe has been prevented from accessing the network". What does this mean? It is located in Windows32\system\.
A second message is " ntoskrnl.exe" has been blocked from accessing the network.  I have done a full virus scan . no luck.
Thanks for all the help

Seems something suspicious...I dont think so "ntoskrnl.exe" requires access to internet...Probably you want to make sure that you have the latest updates for windows and your AV as well...
If you can download prcview or processviewer from sysinternals site please try to look in to which processes are running on and which remote location they are trying to access...This will be very much helpfull...
