MANUAL REM. AD
as you know my dc went down, the other problem is that it was my global catalog box.
lucky for me, i have two dc's running ad, now that the gloabl catalog is down i need to make my 2nd dc the gobal catalog and manually remove the failed dc out of AD.
I have reinstalled server 2003 on the failed dc, i now need to remove the old dc out off AD before i can promo it back.
On my 2nd dc not the one that failed, how can i remove the failed dc out of ad and make the 2nd dc the only dc on the lan?
PLEASE HELP. ONCE I HAVE DONE THIS I WILL THEN PREPARE THE FAILED DC TO BECOME THE GLOBAL CATALOG, AFTER THAT I WILL DEMOTE THE 2ND DC OFF THE LAN AND PROMO TO THE NEW DOMAIN AGAIN.
