Linksys Wireless G Adapter card connection problems

I have a Linksys Wireless G Adapter card for my notebook w/ a wireless G Broadband Router and about every 10 minutes the notebook looses the connection and I have to select "repair" to establish another connection. Then it goes for another 10 minutes. It is annoying especially when you are downloading. Any help is appreciated.

Check the linksys site for updated firmware / drivers, or ask a linksys tech. I'm having a similar problem with a us robotics wireless router. After about 10  unanswered mails from me they finaly replied that the problem is known and they are working on it. They also sent me a temporary workaround, which even works pretty well, only with your system you'll probably need another "workaround".

I've got the latest firmware and your lucky I've emailed Linksys and have had no contact as of yet. I will keep you posted if I find out anything. I believe it may have something to do with Windows XP SP2.

If that helps I can give the settings that I had to adjust on the usr router.

In the "Remote Managemant" section I had to disable everything except "Mutlicast Streams". Maybe you can try something similar. You probably won't need remote management anyway, for security reasons.

rindi, what I finally found and not with the help of Linksys was Windows XP and the Linksys program are conflicting. When I shut down the Linksys program in my msconfig file my wireless works fine. So you might try that.
