WinXP has its own boot manager, which uses a simple text file called boot.ini - no need for third party utilities.

I am not sure if I've done this right? I reloaded this question. I assume I will be able to award more points?
I have restored a ghost image to a second partition hoping that XP would automatically create a boot window when the system restarts. That isn't so.
Do I have to reinstall windows manually on each partition?
