Point to Point T1 bouncing Cisco

I have a point to point T1 connecting 2 locations - 3600 at one end and 2600 at the other - the T1 is bouncing badly...see it in the syslog.  I have opened a ticket with the telco and I will see how that goes.  I will also check cabling from the smart jack to the WIC.  Is there a way to test the router and WIC at each end to help isolate the trouble?  Loopback?  Please advise.

Looks like one end should be providing clocking, but if both are set for default, neither will be doing that...
One end should have:

  interface serial 0/0
   service-module t1 clock source internal

turns out it is a telco circuit issue - they actually found an issue this time and have scheduled a dispatch - thanks for the reply though
