before you say a something like "use firefox" go ahead and leave now.
I use firefox, but I also use I.E. for the retarded sites or software that require I.E. (cause the idiot programs it to work ONLY with I.E.)

anyway, i'm running windows 2000 (obviously). and whenever i click the I.E.  Exe it doesn't run. however the windows update shortcut runs.

wtf? any ideas?  it started doing this yesterday, and since then i'm having some other computer issues.

Ta very much...!

If you go to the Windows Update site, and let it install stuff, does it insist on coming back to that site afterwards?

Just wondering if the Automatic Update of ms patches has got a bit carried away with itself...
