Exchange 2003 - No mailbox created after task

I just installed Exchange 2003 after updating the schema on my AD domain.  I chose the user accounts for which I wanted to create Exchange accounts for than chose Exchange Tasks>Create Mailbox.  But after doing so they are no Exchange mailboxes to be foubd...any suggestions?

"no Exchange mailboxes to be foubd"

Do you mean you cannot see the mailboxes in the Exchange System Manager?
If so this is normal until the mailbox receives email or the user connects with Outlook.

What is your AD environment like? You may need to force replication between your site to get the information that you updated via forrestprep and domainprep out to the other sites or just to get the account replicated.
Note what was said above that account will no show up in ESM until is has a message in it, Open ADUC on an Exchange box search for you user account and see if there are any Exchange attributes located on the account.
