You should be able to use the Windows TTF-Files.

under Solaris you find TTF's in

/usr/openwin/lib/locale/iso_8859_8/X11/fonts/TrueType

I am testing out an application developed using QT and I am trying to use different fonts to display the languages.  How do I apply these fonts to the current application?

oh, looks like this is controlled by your application, as the ttf's inside the above mentioned directory are only used for X11
