Script for auto-emailing Webalizer statistics

We have a Sun Cobalt Raq4 with Webalizer on it for the virtual sites. Can the daily stats be emailed automatically?

    a simple cron job should do, really. just
        @daily cat /webalizer/stats/files/*

    is enough.

    what is a cron job? where is this instruction written?

    Accepted Solution

    Cron is the unix (and linux, solaris, bsd etc.) version of Windows Scheduled Tasks screen. Except that it's text based.
    You edit your personal scheduled tasks with crontab.
    Log in to your machine, and type "crontab -e" on  the command line. Then add those two lines, and save. Done!
