ODBC Console App doesn't work on 2000 server

I have this small application that connects to a MS access database via  ODBC. I works just fine in win 2000 but when it comes to 2000 server it will not connect properly. any ideas?

    There's no technical reason it shouldn't work. Could be a permission problem, or you did not register your database correctly.

    You should check in Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Data Sources -> System DSN to make sure it is there.
