I created a website in frontpage 2002 that i upload to for hosting. My question is, I want the main part of the site to be open, but I would also like to create a section that is password protected. Does anyone know how to do this?

Here is how to do it:
01- Open your website,  File > Open Web
02- After your website is open, select Tools > Server > Administration Home
03- The Administration home opens, scroll down to Subwebs
04- Click on Create a New Subweb
    05- Enter Subweb Name
    06- Select Use Unique Permissions
07- Enter Your Admin username and password
    08- Click on Submit
09- Scroll down to Subwebs section again
10- Click on the newly created subweb
11- Enter your password and user name as admin
12- Go Users and Roles section then click Manage Users
13- Click on Add a User
14- Enter the user's name and password
15- Select the role that you want to give to the user

Here is a Flash tutorial for that:

I did just that, and it created a subweb called "Home", but now

A.) How do I edit that subweb - like page content
B.) How do I access it? When i try to go to the page link, it shows a webpage saying access is forbidenn without even asking me for a user name.

    Accepted Solution

Open the website in Frontpage,  then double click on the Subweb.  Now it opens by itself as a separate web.  Add the contents that you like to it.
