See Application.EnableVisualStyles Method.

There are four default styles in Java using Swing:

This is part of the Core Platforms
swing.defaultlef = javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalLookAndFeel

The following are not because you can't guarentee that they are going to be on all plateforms

swing.defaultlaf = com.sun.java.sing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel

Works on Windows platforms
swing.defaultlaf = com.sun.java.swing.plaf.windows.WindowsLookAndFeel

Works on Mac platforms
swing.defaultlaf = com.sun.java.swing.plaf.mac.MacLookAndFeel

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Correction:

swing.defaultlef = javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalLookAndFeel

Should be:
swing.defaultlaf =  javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalLookAndFeel

Tag_Markman,

I'm not quite sure of the relevance of your Java comment, to a C# discussion..?

But, by deafult, the Mac L&F for Java (com.sun.java.swing.plaf.mac.MacLookAndFeel) isn't available on Windows, however, you *can* download it, and include it as part of your own applications, meaning that you can actually incorporate any L&F into any application, with compatibility on any JVM.

abbasi1,
I'm quite sure that you'd need to download the XP L&F from somewhere, and include it with your application (in order to have an XP L&F on an OS other than XP)..

I'm not sure where you'll find one of these however. :o\

See here: http://www.csharphelp.com/archives2/archive319.html

At the bottom of the page also, there is a link, to download the WinXP L&F.

Hope the helps,
Rob.
