How to display non-english characters in j2me programs

hi,

  I recently came across a j2me application called pocket quran. It is displaying arabic text with out any external font support and installation. Can anybody tell me that how to develop a j2me application that can display non-english characters like that.

hi,

 I tried using unicode. but for indian languages it is showing some letters and some are not seen in the emulator screen. will this be same case on mobile, also or is it like that on emulator. Do i need to install any fonts on my system for that. If so how i have to install those on my mobile. can i bundle them inside jar file. plz help me.

Have you tried the sample that I refered to which gives a sample of the Devanagari writing system ??? Though it is worth mentioning that I have never developed in J2ME.....

Isn't this working???
