Error locating a Domino Directory entry for certifier /O=XXXXX: Entry not found in index

A question similar to this was asked here
but abadoned

I have the error message as above.

The Domino Server started life as Lotus Domino 4.61, through 4.65
It was upgraded to 6.01 then to 6.51, then 6.52

I am uncertain when the messahe appears.

The Domino server is working fine

But then how can I resolve the above issue?

Supplimentary question:  What if I cannot locate the Cert.id and if I have the Cert.id but do not know the password?

You're not the only one:

In addition to the hints given there, I could add that you might try to compact the NAB and/or rebuild the views in it. A Compact -D could be used from the console.

There's another URL:
which says that he somehow replaced the names.nsf database by his personal NAB, which happened when he wanted to install or use iNotes. I hope your French is better than mine ;)
