Object Query Language --Tutorial

Hello ..I am not sure if this is the right place to post ....but nevertheless I am taking the chance..

Could you please direct me to a tutorial ..or a reference where I can get first hand information about OQL ...I searched the internet but could not lay hands on a good tutorial ..all of these mention OQL but none goes (talks) about in detail.

Thanks for your time.

OQL is part of the The Object Data Standard: ODMG 3.0...see here for further details:

http://www.odmg.org/

...rather unhelpfully most of standard is not available online, you need to buy the book that is linked to from numerous places on that site...

As you've posted in an Oracle stream I assume you are an Oracle user, if you have Metalink access you can search on 'OQL Reference' and will be given a link to an Oracle OQL reference...
