I've just bought a Draytek Vigor 2600 since my old ADSL modem died. I'm very pleased about the user interface to setup the router, but i can't seem to get VPN running!

Can anyone guide me through a few simple steps to setup my VPN in my modem

I'm not aware of any circumstances where you have to map a port, no, as the Draytek itself is handling the VPN.  Could you clarify your understanding of why you would need this mapping - perhaps I'm misunderstanding you intention.
