Try a different keyboard, to isolate if it is a hardware problem.  It could also be a virus or spyware, in which case you need to look at running three or more of these utilities to get rid of it: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Web/Browser_Issues/Q_20975384.html  Better to determine if it is a hardware problem first.

Hi jesuisperdu,

I agree with callandor, trying another keyboard first will eliminate that however I suspect an application in the background either a virus or spyware application.

I find that SpyBot and MS AntiSpyware the best 2 at the moment for removing Spyware.

Cheers!

Sounds like it's your keyboard. Could it be that someone close by also has a wireless keyboard - and you're getting some interference?

As said by the others.
Try a normal keyboard with cord. If it works correctly it's the keyboard.

Now, if you confirm it's the keyboard, try new batteries and resetting the connection, by pressing the buttons on the base and keyboard for that. Most wireless keyboards have several ID channels and when you press the connection button it changes to a new one. As iom100uk said could be someone close in the same ID channel.

most likely its keyboard. put your cordless and mobile phone away, and keep the batteries fresh.
