installshield X - need to run .exe at end of setup!

My installscript code.  Is there a way to debug and see what in the hell targetdir contains? (step through?)..

I have a feeling the targetdir var declared at the top of all code is not coming into this function.

How do I run an executable at the end of the installshield install???

// OnEnd
// The OnEnd event is called at the end of the setup. This event is not
// called if the setup is aborted.

function OnEnd()
    LaunchApp (TARGETDIR ^ "consoleservice.exe","");

    Accepted Solution

    I usually use MessageBox functions.  Something like:
    function OnEnd()
     LaunchApp (TARGETDIR ^ "consoleservice.exe","");

    That being said, I changed the name of the EXE to one in one of my projects and it worked correctly.  Are you sure it's not launching?

    For future users here is the final app run code for installshield X

    TheAppPath = TARGETDIR ^ "\pathtoexe\\TheApp.exe";

    LaunchApp (TheAppPath,"");

    Thanks for the help!  It was the var not containing the right path to the exe
