Show movie and make it go away

I want to show a 2.5 second flash movie when a web page initially opens, then have it go away and show my index.html page. Can this be done? Thanks for your time, and please ask for any clarifications that are needed.

    On the last frame of your swf put a keyframe.
    On the keyframe add this code

    that is all you need:)

    in fact this should do it for you
    //the different 2nd paramters denotes the nature of the new browser - check it out in the help file for flash

    That worked like I needed it to, up until the scope of the project changed and went all flash. Dontcha hate dealing with others some times??
