Recipient Policies not updating

Hi

I have migrate from windows 2k to exchange 2003. The problem I am having is that everytime I create a new user the email address do not populate..

I also get the following errors in the application log:

since this is a migration make sure ur recipient update service is pointion to the right
GC... also do an update and rebuilt...and a restart never hurts this kinda problem..

Any other ideas would be greatful....

OK the run setup /forestprep and setup /domainprep and see if that would help u..

Thank-you for your help on this but I found the solution myself

Use ADSI Edit
Got to Configuration Container > services > Microsoft Exchange > (Organiztion Name) > address list container > Recipient Update services > right click on the two services in the right plane and select properties.

In select a property to view choose gatewayproxy and then remove the offending address type. in my case it was FAX.
