SBS 2000 and outlook 2003

Client pcs running winxp and outlook 2003 outlook keeps loosing connection.Can still access documents on server.
Client PCs running win2k and outlook 2003 no problem.
Been through MS article 325930 rpc client protocol registry entries.All seems ok.
Replaced outlook 2003 with outlook 2000 on one affected pc no problems.

Have you installed the latest service pack and updates on the affected machine?  By this I mean both windows updates and office updates (http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate)
