I have an HP Designjet 500 42 inch plotter.  I hooked it up to my laptop running windows XP and it prints fine.  On the server, it won't print anything.  When I print a test page from teh server, the printer itself shows its status as "processing" for a few seconds, then goes back to ready.  I've tried a few different drivers but none seem to be working.  Any suggestions?

Are you using a network connection? If yes what type of print server?
Have you updated the driver at the server?

No, it was directly connected to the USB or parallel port.  It ended up being a bad USB cable.  However when I hooked up the printer to my laptop using the same cable it didn't work.  So we replaced the cable and it works now.  Strange.  Thanks for the help.
