the pruning job in Arcserve 2000 was accidentally deleted some time ago and the database needs pruning.  Does anyone know how to add it back?

Just in case you have a problem reaching the link.
ARCserve Server Admin
Admin, Configuration
or Click on the Cog & Wrench icon
Database tab
There is a check box for Enable Database Pruning
You can also set the # of days to prune records older than

Also you can set the time the prune job runs. It is better to set it to run at a time when the backups are not running and not in production use. This is because the Database Prune job can cause utilization to go way up.
