Cisco 827 Clears NVRAM after every reboot

I can type copy run start or whatever to save a new startup-config but after every reboot I get:

Would you like to enter the initial configuration dialog? [yes/no]:

How do I get it to save the configuration?

wdundore,

Type "show version".

If the configuration register is 0x2142, then type "config-register 0x2102" at the config prompt.

Change the 4 to a 0 in whatever you have from the show version - the 4 means ignore the NVRAM config file.

Good luck!

Type "write" to save the configuration after you enter it.
