Yes, RDP uses 3389 port to connect.
The client to connect Remote Desktop to Windows is rdesktop

Simple using of this looks like:
   rdesktop windows_machine

Is it the destination (xp) must accept our connection so we can connect to the machine? I've been use this format: 10.170.20.52:3389 but got msg that says: "Connection failed. The server does not accept new connections."

This is 'cause of either RDP is not enabled by the 170.20.52 or it reached the maximum of connections allowed.

Is it 170.10.52 must confirm first if we want to connect to it? It's take time for "Authenticating..". Btw, when I use mandrake 10.0, just simple (same as xp tp xp remote desktop)
