Install on Win2k with Active Sync 3.7 software.

It syncs all the outlook contents fine such as CONTACT, FAVOURITE ETC, until it get
To Inbox bit were it get itself into a twist and produces the following message:

“Wcesmgr.exe has generated error and will be closed by windows.
You will need to closed program”

I have ran outlook in safe mode performed “detect and Repair” amongst other things
But no luck.

Any idea how I can get around this?

Have you tried to uninstall activesync completely, then re-install?  They are up to 3.8 now.  I just did this yesterday and it seemed to resolve the issue with the end user.

You may want to try and do the upgrade first, then if that does not work, try the uninstall and reinstall route.

    Good Luck!
