We have done that and that doesn't work either!

The one time I was in a pinch like this was I went out and purchased the following product

http://www.officerecovery.com/exchange/index.htm

and ran it against the damaged database, and it extracted them to PST files. If your database is corrupted, you will find that Microsoft does not support corrupted databases.

The process may take some time, depending on the size of the database, and you will get any of the data that is recoverable.

How do I get the store mounted again after that though?
0

easy-vCommented:
you create a new, empty store, mount it, and then use the exmerge utility to reimport the pst files.

Are you sure I don't need the ExchangeServerRecovery to recover the EDB file?

And can I download the demo and still get it done?
0

easy-vCommented:
I think the demo limits to recovering the only first 20 items per mailbox

Sorry, you do need the ExchangeServerRecovery product. My mistake.

How do I create an empty public store and get rid of the old one.  See we had a public folder called CSDI and I had an email address to that and that's what we want back.  It's okay if we lose the data, I just want to get it mounted back.
