Citrix Desktop accepts login but never opens, no error

I have a network with 10 thin client terminals and 3 windows desktops. Everyone is fine except one user. She clicks on citrix desktop to open citrix, enters her login and pass, no error message, and then nothing.  The citrix desktop does not come up. I checked the server settings on the client, all ok. She is on Windows XP Pro, with the latest citrix client installed. She does not have SP2 for xp installed. I disabled Norton on her desktop. I tried the administrator login with the same results. Logged into windows as administrator, then tried citrix again, same problem. Someone suggested clearing temp files out of IE, no change. All other workstations are fine. I'm not a big Citrix person so this may be easy.  This desktop has been able to use Citrix in the past. Thanks for any help experts.

Are you using backup exec by any chance?
Rename the users Roming profile (add a .bck to the end of the folder) and log her in again.  The profile will recreate when the user logs in again.

Look in the Users Account Properties (Active Directory Users and Computers) and go to the Terminal Servers Profile Tab.  Verify where the location is.

If the location is blank then the profile is in c:\document and settings

Rename it and login again.

rmalenchek, I'm not using backup exec.

brownmattc, I tried the administrator login also, i would be surprised if both user profiles are damaged. But i'll give it a try when i'm back over at the site.
