Mail/Trend?

Hi There

If i have just installted Trend Interscan Messaging Security Suite and i sent a mial from outside to my mail server and it returned this message.  Or will it be a message from my pix dening the mail????

When i have disabled trend then exchange receives mail fine????

The Postfix program

Hi hitech, seems to me, that your mail server is asking you for validation prior to send mail.

All looks like you have rules at your server denying relay mails, this can make that when connecting from outside for sending a mail to an outside adress, it first checks if you are "from the inside", this is the validation part.

You need to validate yourself for that (username and password).

Furthermore on this, if you are using Outlook or outlook express, check the option that states something as "My server requires autentication"

Sounds like this "protective" software has placed itself between your Postfix and your mailbox, and doesn't want to accept any incoming mails. You may have to adjust it accordingly.
