MSDART.DLL error

I am trying to install a new program on a Windows 2003 server and each time I almost get through with the installation and the following error shows up,
The Procedure entry point lstrcatI could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL
So looked for the file and have the following,
one in system32 and one in windows\servicepackfiles\i386
both are version number 2.82.1830.0
Can anyone hlep me figure out how to remedy this?
Thank you in advance

wyogirl77,

Sounds like your not the only one having trouble with this DLL.

Suggests downloading a new version from www.dll-files.com and installing it in both places.  Rename the existing ones to .old before trying this so you can roll back if it doesn't work :-).

Hope this helps,

MSDART.dll is used by MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components). Try and download the latest version (2.8)

I looked at those above articles and none of them helped, this is a Windows 2003 Server, not an XP computer thank you for trying.
