How can I backup my email messages on outlook express

Hi

my outlook express is failing to open because of some 3rd party software that messed up the whole of the operating system including the possibility to restore the registery,

I am not bothered about anything else except the emails I have in the outlook express inbox can any on direct me to where they would be stored on the c: drive so I can take a copy and format this pc please

Outlook Express stores the emails in .dbx files:

You have to look for them in your Document and Settings folder.

In my case the files are
C:\Documents and Settings\MyAccount\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{bignumber}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Postvak IN.dbx
