I have a similar thing when I delete multiple mails at the end of the list: maisl are deleted and the selection jumps to the top of the screen, not the first mail in the Inbox. Pretty annoying, but one learns to live with it. I don't know if there's a solution, so I'd like to know the answer myself.

A client of mine uses Lotus notes for email. &nbsp;On the office computer whenever he selects an email to view and opens the message, then closes the message, the last message he had selected is still highlighted.<br />
At home, after he closes a message the highlighted selection returns to the top of the Inbox thus losing his place in the emails. &nbsp;<br />

If you do not understand the question please comment and I will try to clarify. &nbsp;Ultimately Lotus Notes is not retaining the position of the selection. <br />

Lotus Notes emaill will not remember the last email selected. Selection resets to the top every time a message is closed.

Lotus Software produced the Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet program, and later developed Lotus Notes, a groupware and email system. Following its acquisition by IBM, the Notes and Domino client/server collaborative platform were expanded to include functions such as email, calendars, to-do lists, contacts management, teamrooms, discussion forums, file sharing, microblogging, instant messaging, blogs, and user directories. IBM also release SmartSuite, a comprehensive office suite, and followed that with Symphony, unrelated to the Lotus suite of the same name.
