The primary DNS server in our network is not resolving and domain names with .co.uk, doing nslookups against the server returns no results, try doing nslookups against the secondary DNS server nd the domains are being resolved. Have tried clearing the cache on the primary, this did nothing. The primary and secondary DNS servers are bot on DC's.

Thanks

Check that the server doesn't think it's Authoritative for any zones it isn't. (Open the Forward Lookup Domains branch of the tree and make sure it *only* has twigs for your own domain(s)!)

Are you using Forwarders? If so, check that the DNS server you're forwarding to can resolve correctly. If not, make sure your Root Hints file is up to date.

Looked like it was the Root Hints. Thanks for the help.
