Rebooted my machine this morning and it said "ntldr is missing". I have a win 2k pro machine on an ad domain. About a week ago I created an image of this machine and saved it on my server using GHOST. The computer was rebuilt about two weeks ago and had good antivirus and spyware protection. It was working great at that time.
1. Why is this happening?!!
2. Is there a way to fix it without restoring the image?
3. Is the ntldr file specific to my computer or can I get this file off another machine or from my image file?
4. What is the best protection against this type of problem, think network solution?
5. Where is the ntldr file stored?
