where JIT ACT is used

anyone know what  JIT ACT. is and what do i use it for? its the latest buzz word doing the rounds in my class.

    Hi 10speedracer,
    JIT ACT stands for Just-in-Time Activation, server recourses like database connections and memory are scarce resources that have to be shared with many clients, JIT activation can be used if you want support building applications that can scale to very large numbers of users.
