Does Compaq Proliant 1600 support Windows 2003?

Last Modified: 2006-11-18 a few retired Compaq proliant 1600, just wondering they
support Windows 2003 server. If it does, do I have to use Smart Start
CD to boot the server up to install Windows 2003?
any alternative if I can't find the Compaq Smart  Start CD?

    You should be able to install w2k3 if they have enough ram. I dont know if smart start still support 1600 but you should be able to install with the regular w2k3 CD. You will not get a top system though
