Retrieve Outlook Express (win98) files to XP

I'm trying to pull the file(s) form Outlook Express as it ran on win98 into my in xp install. I have the win98 drive running as a slave...i'd thought outlook used the .pst extention but no pst files on that drive exist.

Outlook express uses *.dbx files.  In OE in windows 98 , go to tools > options > maintainence > store folder.
check the path there

close OE
go to that path.
Copy all the files in there..

Move those files to windows xp machine. In windows xp , open OE , go to file > import  messages and import those DBX files..

Good luck

That worked but i didn't get the address book...is that stored somehwere else?
Address book is stored as WAB file.. Get that file from the first machine to the second machine , open Address book inside OE in the second machine and go to file ---> import and import it
