Is there anyway that I can change my default calendar

We are running Exchange and my wife runs the family calendar.

When I open outlook my outlook today page shows my calendar as blank because all the info is in my wifes shared calendar.

Can I change this anywhere? so it defaults to my wifes shared calendar and not my blank one

Based on this article from Microsoft's knowledgebase,;en-us;236081

it can be done, but requires some programming knowledge as well as the Microsoft Office Resource Kit.

Further, the onther knoedgebase article I found on the subject;en-us;290832

only shows limited options for customizing that page without programming.
