Slow computers

All computers on my network take 4 plus minutes to open a simple email. And those emails with attachments when you try to open the attachment it will not open. What would cause a system wide problem like this. My platform is Outlook 2003 and exchange server 2003.

    Have you checked the size of the information store?  This problem could be occuring if you are reaching the size limit of the database which I beleive is 16gb..
